The first recognized full map of the continent by the English and the first to use the name "Australia" was Mathew Flinders' General Chart of Terra Australis or Australia, published in 1814.
The culmination of more than 200 years of mapping the continent - at last a full map accurately showing all previously unknown coasts, and bearing the many place names still in use today, a further 200 years later.
Reproduced from the original chart, then hand coloured in the style of the period and digitally printed on premium quality 200 gsm matte (uncoated) paper, framed with shatterproof plexiglass - includes hanging kit.
Shipped in protective packaging and a strong box to ensure no damage during transportation.
