Published in the 30 years between the voyages of Cook (1769 - 1771) and Finders and Baudin (1800 - 1803), the South coast including the Great Australian Bight and Bass Strait are still unknown and unexplored.
Tasmania is shown as Diemens' Land and is still shown as fancifully attached to the mainland.
